I think you mean Downtown and Midtown.
![]() It's alright, don't worry. I like Downtown better, but that's just me.

I've always been more of a Midtown kinda guy, but that's probably because nearly every time I went down to the city I stayed north of 33rd Street. Downtown would most likely grow on me if I visited it more often.

Well on my visits to New York I always liked Midtown more, it seems like there's more to do and more to see there.

I've always loved SoHo, the Village, East Village, Little Italy, Chinatown, Tribeca, Battery Park, and recently the meat packing district is taking off. Tons of character downtown. Its more for the locals.

Not that I can say as I don't live in New York but anywhere nearby Central Park would have to be a plus !....heck, anywhere in New York would be a plus : ) after my hometown that is.

Midtown can get boring with skyscrapers and Downtown has a lot of the REAL New York charm and its where all the fun and non-touristy stuff are located at. If you haven't been to Lowereast Side, East Village, West Village, Meatpacking District, TriBeca, Nolita, Soho, Chelsea, you're definitely missing out
