NT/DARWIN - #Proposed - Gateway Plaza McMinns St. - 18L / 55m/ resi

This proposal goes before Council on Monday 4th October.

This would be a fantastic addition to the Darwin skyline as it will finally give the entrance to the city a bit of definition instead of all the vacant lots you see in Daly Street.

Facing McMinn Street with Daly Street Bridge to the left of drawing.

Facing the old rail corridor and the image people entering the city will see.

Both side views.

Location of proposal.

At 55 metres it is above the 36 metre fringe CBD height limit, however there is flexibilty in the zoning to allow this height if the development meets certain criteria.

In the first image it looks really good.
They could've done the balconies a bit better, but oh well.

Is there any link in NT major project where we can see all the pdf of the submitted docs n dwgs? Just like the NSW major projects?

Yes, i posted the links to some other development on here once.

This is where you should find it, more or less, when a development application comes in you will get to see the plans, elevation views etc here.

then scroll down and click on planning notices (Current or Archived).

i won't post the direct link as my current internet connection is not very stable.

Unfortunately you can't access the plans with archived notices.

Looks a lot better with coloured, looks a bit Hong Kong styled.

Would look even better if it were navy blue or black.
