Some interesting ones there.

How about...

1 - Arena Central continues to do absolutely nothing

2 - Mike Whitby kicked out of office in May

3 - LMBC continues to ram Mancheser down our throats at every opportunity

...and being less cynical...

4 - Boerma quarter starts tentatively

5 - New St starts to dazzle...and gives Brum some hope for the future.

Can't think of 15, but here's as few!

- Wouldn't mind seeing Ladywood House been refurbished and becoming a hotel

- City Centre interchange and new Wayfinding facilities start to appear.

- 1 Martineau Place approved and ready to start with the closure of Corporation Street

- I'd love to see the pink/red brick work from Broad street to Bullring (New Street) removed and replaced with a more lighter modern colour/pattern

- And finally, John Lewis rising

(I agree with Sefton on most of his, mine are just to add really)

1) A forumer from Birmingham will be killed by myself for uttering the words "it has a big city feel", "it's better than what's currently there" or "why does Manchester/ Leeds/ Liverpool get ... but not Birmingham?"

That's all.

1) elbrown will continue to upload pointless pictures (signs) at times throughout the year along with the informative ones he posts. Where has he gone anyway? no wonder when i log in there are less threads to check.

2) Regeneration Is Cool will still be unable to string a sentence together

3) Josh will bump an old thread at some point in the year but will continue to improve his contribution to the forum and provide a unique perspective on buildings.

4)Erebus will stop posting as he will no longer be able to read the forum without a deep sense of serial murder taking over his soul.

But really -

1) Wholesale market announces new site
2) NEC Group will look into improving the ICC or the other halls of the NEC
3) Outline application for redevelopment of the North Stand at Villa Park
5) ground cleared for Regal and a core starting to rise before it stalls
6) Grand Hotel to become a Savoy hotel
7) VTP is relocated to Paradise forum
8) Broad St tower scrapped along with Lee longlands
9) The design of the HS2 station is revealed and looks just like the old new street station.
10) Another route for the metro is suggested to government for funding
11) Martineau Place will reduce rents so much it becomes a hive for independent shops
12) Blooming Dales to Anchor Matineau Galleries
13) Masshouse man will be employed to start the next 10 year phase of masshouse

Also, the Lee Longlands proposal isn't an actual planned one. It's just Lee Longlands bumping up the value of their site for when they come to sell it off.
