800m.. Does it really need to be so big? I don't wanna sound like a dick and I too like tall buildings/structures but I don't understand why people make things big just for the sake of it

observation deck (restaurants) - 620m
technical rooms of television and radio - 272,140m
strut base - 67m
core - +0 + 648

high tower in order to simply look at the city from the heights to the television signal transmitted to the remote areas that had an excellent cellular and radio communication.

ah i get it now, From the first picture you gave, i could only see a building underneath the frame right at the bottom, and I presumed this was the TV Centre and the only accessible part of the tower.
Now you've shown what there is at different levels, I understand it better and the reasons behind it
