Pogradec is a town in Eastern Albania located in the other half of Ohrid lake
It is an OK looking town , around 35.000 people
It has some attraction but i think is very underdeveloped

Pogradec is a slavic word for sure
Some villages of eastern Albania have names of slavic origin

its a toponym left by the bulgarians not the serbs.

AMAZING PLACE ... at least till 1990, I have no idea what might have happened after that.

If you look at this picture of Pogradec it has tremendous potential for the future.
They need a masterplan for the city and of course wise investments and i think Pogradec could be a nice tourist attraction being that it's by Ohri lake

I was last year in drilon,and it was still very pretty.

I don't think, it's in Pogradec, because as I can see, it is the monastry called Sveti Naum or in albanian Shen Naum. This monastry once belonged to Albania, but King Zog sold it to Yugoslavia. And now Shen Naum/Sveti Naum is on the macedonian side near Ohrid!
