Okay, I'll start this off.
This is London's City Hall. The mayor Ken Livingstone works here. Situated on the South Bank, near Tower Bridge, this building was designed by Norman Foster and built in 2002. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Some facts about the Philadelphia City Hall
Here are some interesting facts about Philadelphia's City Hall:
- It took 30 years to build (cornerstone was laid by President Ulysses S. Grant in 1871, not completed until 1901) - It is 548 feet or 167 meters tall, the second tallest all masonry building in the world, just 1 and a half feet (.49 meter) shorter than the Mole Antonelliana building in Turin, Italy. - It was the tallest habitable building in the world from 1901 through 1908. - with about 700 rooms, it is the largest municipal building in the US, and one of the largest in the world. - the four sided clock dials in the tower are 26 feet (7.9 meters) in diameter, larger than the famous "Big Ben" clock in the Westminster Palace in London. - It is decorated with 250 bronze statues by the noted sculptor Alexander Milne Calder.

Hi
Im Conor and I've just joined!I think the Belfast city hall is amazing, especially at nght. Heres a few pics. Also, here is Ballymena's city hall: I love modern and old city halls, but I think the newer ones lack authority and power compared to the older city halls.
