caw: if you're reading this, please come back. I know what roly said was hurtful, but people on the Internet tend to go OTT and he is sorry. Don't let it turn you off something you enjoy. Remember how grateful people are for all those pictures you post up. Treat it as something that only makes you stronger, and it will.

Well I DO HOPE he comes back. I feel completely responsible for him going because of my hissy fit, which should never have happened. I DID send him a private message to apologise and also tried to explain what my beef was in a more constructive way ie; not slaggin him off.

I'm sorry guys, I feel maybe I should go, if I do I'm sure he'll come back.

And I'm sorry I've leant on you too caw. Sometimes one doesn't make sufficient allowance for things like age, and it's too easy say something hasty. No problem if you're finding another outlet for your interest in buildings, but otherwise don't let a few words affect what could be the whole future course of your life.

I don't think you should go roly. I think what we should all do is try to be a bit nicer and a little less confrontational.

I'm sorry to see Caw go, he has eben the life anhd soul of this forum for a long long time and has cotnributed more than anyone, without him this place wlould be nothing.

Everyone has to change and grow even if that means saying goodbye sometimes, all the best Caw, thank you for everything you have done for Manchester and the forum, keep your head up lad!
