Wooden Towers in UK and Ireland

Which is the tallest tower in the UK built of wood still standing and which was the tallest tower in the UK ever built of wood? (For Germany see on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lattice_tower ). Did in earlier days also wooden radio towers exist in the UK?
