Latest info I have is that it will "only" be 76 floors in total. Shopping centre and parking will be completed first, then the main tower.

76F , why would they downgrade the tower into 76F

I think that one has to consider many reasons why they may not go up to the 100 floor level:
1. Baladiya (municipality) specified that no building can exceed 400 meters. And I really don't know how many meters they plan per floor. From what I hear, they will come close to the 400 m mark.
2. Cost may be too high
3. Diminishing returns theory - it may not make economical sense to build something so high. Remember, most of these "tallest towers" that are going up around the world are purely to satisfy the ego. The owners of this project are 100% private investors - no gov't money. And Kuwatis are known to be frugal (or wise) spenders - I am one of them!

But have no doubt, this building will definitely be the tallest and most impressive tower in Kuwait. The location is just stunning.

as far as i know the reason behind the 400M height limit ,is that the fire fighters cant reach the upper floors !!

actually the fire fighting teams can't reach beyond the 15th floor ... and the reason for 400 m is that each floor is 4 meters high .. so 100 floors = 400 meters
