Sweeeeeeeeeetttttt!!! Just stroke that gleaming shaft!...

The tower looks like it was inspired by TD centre.

Great find. It looks very much like a Mies box. The abstract base is similar to the TD Tower. So this is around 400 ft. now?

Looks great! It's too bad that the height was lowered slightly due to politics as this is one of the better looking towers.

Get used to it! Now that the Harris pro- devlopment OMB has had its power cut, we won't be seeing much above 20 stories.

Oh well.

Tower looks great - perhaps the end of an era.

According to Ed on UT, the tower will be 43 storeys and will have approxiametly 400 units, so it will be over 400 ft.

It was previously around 500ft including mechanical. The city report listed 149m to the roof.

^ You think so? I think it looks amazing! Great Gulf also has a reputation for putting up excellent buildings.

I agree - I'm all for a balanced skyline but this is one design that should stand out a little among the Bloorwalks

Thats a better, much more modern version of the originals. 860-880 Lakeshore dr. in Chicago. I love the name too.

Speaking of Bloor Walk, my folks purchased a unit there recently, and my oh my, how tragic the interior finish is in that place. The last 3 months alone have been spent doing renovations and touch-ups to the unit (fortunately at no cost to us, but those guys have a brutal work ethic). The building itself is nothing to gawk at. Fortunately, the NE facing view is stunning (the church and the insurance building across Bloor, although somewhat tempered with the Rogers building to the east.

DAMN!! looks great!!
It seems like its been awhile since weve had large Tower proposal.
It looks like a more modern version of the Black Box Towers in the main core.

I don't mind a box when it looks like this. I might even like this better than SP!RE.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BOXES...if Toronto wants to be known for something let's just have the biggest BOXED skyline....with a big 553m giant needle dick...But make the bOXES LOOK NICE

Oh Are Be. The City approved this project before it went to the OMB. And the project is 43 storeys. A broken record...
