www.port-lixus.com

Perceived as a real balcony which gets a view of the Atlantic Ocean , and being a backdrop for the town of Larache , Lixus' seaside resort/station is only 80 km far from Tangier, a mythical city (which is) at the edge of Europe . It is located at the foot of the archeological site of Lixus, a Phoenician city which gives its name to this area/station

Site

The area of Lixus stretches over more than 461 ha, on the plateau of Khemis Sahel. Being characterized by several virgin beaches, this area posseses both a coastal and "fluvial" façade. It is also covered with a splendid forested massif of dunes, and surrounded by a back country of farm hills.

Developer
The development of Lixus's seaside resort is entrusted to the Group Thomas and Piron SA, l'Atelier SA et Ocro.

Program
Being geared to "well-being, health and nature", Lixus' seaside resort will offer a wide variety of products likely to entertain the most demanding visitors: discovery of nature, fitness, activities related to golf, hunting, riding, and guided tours in the archeological site of Lixus, as well as in the medina of Larache etc. With a capacity of more than 11860 beds, including 7360 hotel beds, this seaside resort will be equipped with two golf courses of 18 holes each, a forested park, a marina and commerce.

Project

The total amount of investment :
Planning: 1,40 billion DH
Direct investment: 0,55 billion DH
Investment of other "promotors": 3,30 billion DH
Investment concerning off-site infrastructures: 0,27 billion DH

Unhappy Property Borders chosen to promote Port Lixus Larache & Mogador Essaouira

Property Borders a Moroccan run Property agency based in
London are proud to have been chosen to promote two luxuy resorts in Morocco, Port Lixus in Larache North Morocco & Mogador Essaouira in the South of Morocco. Both of these luxury developments will have golf courses.

In January 2001 the King of Morocco, his majesty King Mohammed VI announced his plans for Vision 2010 / Plan Azur.
The announced plans were to encourage 10 million visitors to Morocco by the year 2010. To accommodate these visitors new hotels/residences, improved infrastructure and increased flights into and out off Morocco are all being arranged.

6 main resorts are being built under Vision 2010/Plan Azur
Mediterranean Saidia – Saidia
Mogador – Essaouira
Port Lixus – Larache
Mazagan – El-Jadida
Plage Blanche
Taghazout

Any purchasers buying on or in the vicinity of these resorts can be assured of a great return on their money.

Just last month Ryanair, Europe’s leading low fares airline, announced the completion of a five year agreement with the Government of Morocco to develop low cost air access and tourism to the country from Ryanair’s bases throughout Europe. The agreement covers most of the regional airports in Morocco and involves the commitment by Ryanair to develop up to 20 routes delivering almost 1 million passengers per annum by the end of the five year period.

Mustapha Mezouri the director of Property Borders who himself is Moroccan said "this is exciting news for anyone investing or thinking of investing in Moroccan property and we are very proud to be part of it."

Middle Eastern countries are investing 19 billion dollars to improve the countries infrastructure.
With prices in Spain so high many buyers are turning to Morocco as an exciting alternative.

Property Borders have properties to suit most budgets including Plan Azur/Vision 2010 resorts.

To date our most popular resort is the Paradise Golf & Beach Resort.
This is a beachfront, golf development on the Atlantic coast with properties starting at approx £43,361.
