yes, this is the first one, including not commie highrises. There is a very similar project in Lesná, i`ll try to gain more information.

currently largest office development project in Brno, overall floor size is
about 60000m2, costs cca 100mil. EUR

5 x Villa`s - already built
4 x IQ Building - 9 floors, currently under construction, topped out
2 x Tower - office building and hotel (20f, 80m) - till 2008

i heard that Brnos going for High Technical institute of technology (will be build from Eu foundations) any infos???

Construction update of the Masaryk University campus:

16th October:

Brno Terminal was finished on 18th Sept.

The ICRC ( International Clinical Research Center ) building. Cooperating with the world famous Mayo clinic.

This project might have been posted but I like to have it here, in our special Brno thread

Most discussed project is the railway modernisation in the south of Brno.
There are 2 possible projects:
The first one, is to move whole railway station about 1km southwards and the other, more popular, solution is to leave it in the present position.
In both cases the whole station would be renovated.

Dobrovského tunnel looks just fine. I think it will connect the D1 wit future expressway to Svitavy.

Dobrovského tunnel is part of VMO (Velký městský okruh) - Brno city ring, it's on the north. It will connect D1 with current I/43 heading to Svitavy, but future R43 expressway will run on the west of the city.

R43 is green line going south-north
