So where are all the beautifull women??? I heard that medellin has the hottest chicks in the world and that the ration of women to men is much in favor of men. I met this girl from Bogota and she said I should go teach English in Medellin because the women are gorgeous!! Is this true.

She said when you go to bars and clubs or even out in public there are more women then men so a lot of the time the women will approach a man they are attracted to.

Please give me some insight.

Thanks

Man, in Medellin, girls are hot regardless of whether they have money to get nicely dressed or whatever. It's just a natural thing.

Great pictures of Medellín. Of course the city has got its own social issues, but the improvement in terms of security, infrastructure and new projects coming up is just remarkable,.... if we compare the situation with 10 or 15 years ago.

Colombia's 2nd largest city is really charming.
What is the most livable city in Colombia ? Some of my Brazillian friends said its Barranquilla or Cartagena/
Surprise that Colombian main cities are located high in the Andes

Not all of them though. Barranquilla (Shakira's hometown) is our 4th largest city with over 1 million inhabitants and it's located near the caribbean coast. Also, Cartagena is right on the coast.

However, you are somehow right, because Bogotá (2600 meters a.s.l.), Medellin (1600 m.a.s.l.) and Cali (1000 m.a.s.l.) are all Andean cities.

About the most livable city, I don't know, but I guess Bogotá and Cartagena would be in the top 2 in the country. These two cities' infrastructure is also changing and improving rapidly.

Well, you are actually right. It's just that the construction boom in Cartagena is making it be a great place to go and even to stay. But yes, of course Medellin has great infrastructure and options as a city to live in.

I agree with alejoaoa. Cartagena is not the best city to live in my opinion. the best colombian cities to live are Bogota, Medellin and I believe that Bucaramanga and Pereira are also great to live.
