Stunning work. Out of curiosity, how long did those renders take you and on how powerful a computer?
Was Exchange Square your design or was that lifted from an actual concept? That too was quite impressive. How did you arrive at the name though? People are going to see "emerald city" and associate it with the Wizard of Oz... unless the Wiz has a residence here that we haven't seen yet? |

I decided the name through a survey posted before. Yes E. Square was my design way back when i conceptualized E.city. Its a fusion of radical spiral forms and conventional post-modern design.
As for the renders I did it with a modest computer by rendering standards - a 2 Ghz p4 with 1 GB RAM. Software was 3dMax Mental Ray 9.0. and Photoshop for the entourages. The entire city is rendered by AUTOCAD. Each 3d render took me a day or too to finish, since i had to increase the detail of the pre-existing 3dmodel from the CAD file. The actual render time was a little over an hour, with some details being planar to cut render time. As for that famous denizen... Yes maybe the Wiz may have a residence. It's still on the works. Tentaive name is Emerald Residences

God, where's this been hiding? What a brilliant city you've made here, with a worrying level of detail! You have to show more renders seeing how long you've obviously spent on this - superb.
