Is this a different project than the Lotte supertall proposal for Busan?

How about a source saying that it's approved?

What an intriguing design. Square base, circular top through diamond-shaped facades. wheeee, nice tower.

Well I'm sure it's nice to have a big tall tower in your town and all and not faulting anyone for feeling some pride about that but this thing seems to try to do too much and ultimately for me it fails miserably, it looks like a friggen smokestack.

If you do not like negative posts, stop reading now.

This thing looks like an artsy-fartsy waste paper basket or the cooling tower at a nuclear power plant designed by a gay jewler at Tiffany's. The design sucks on so many of its 112 levels.

Fortunately, none of the Lotte proposals ever seem to materialize anywhere but on paper so I don't have to worry about it ever being built. Lotte talks a big game, but he doesn't ever produce.

I agree with you, and that's why I like this tower. It is different. I can't wait to see how it will look when it's finnished. But I'm sure it will look better than those modernism towers from the seventies

I couldn't agree with you more on this. I don't like the design and furthermore, as you pointed out SpaceScraper, when does Lotte ever get anything past the drawing board?

Oops! When does anything from Korea get off the drawing board?

Anything going up in Seoul or Busan.....I need to see the thing under construction to be convinced. Even if it is "approved" I like to see it actually going up.

Wow, with all these gigantic skyscrapers being approved or u/c, the top 10 that's been around for so long will be forgotten soon.
