You can do anything these day!
What haven't we got in terms of technology to produce great buildings.

Its a bar on one side and a gym on the other. I wonder how they will control the noise - so not to distrub the other residents?

Its just glass curtainwall spanning 2.5 / 3 floors, the steel columns hold the building up and the exterior closure doesnt have much structural value, hence why the steel frame goes up first and then it is clad. The triple height spaces are easiley achieved too

If thats part of the hotel... I will defaintely be paying to go in there when they complete it. The view must be amazing. They need to have a skybar in there like Cloud23 in the Hilton Tower in manchester

It's literally described as a 'Skybar' by the developers and will be between the hotel below and the apartments above.

Went past the No.1 Westbridge site today and there is a lot of digging work going on. I'm assuming this is for an archeological dig, because the site is alongside the western part of the old Roman wall.
It is also a stones throw from where some of the best Roman mosaics in Britain have been found, as well as plenty of other evidence of Roman times. image hosted on flickr

Don't think they'll find anything of such a high quality. I think the site used to be an old dyeworks. Bet most of the remains below have been badly damaged. Who knows though?

I know but they will take the piss and do it thoroughly even if they dont find owt so can hold projects up quite a bit, its the same when they come across an old burial ground on a building site, the construction work halts while they get all the archeologists in
