Thanks for the extra pictures. Recent images of this city is hard to come by. The beaches around that area (Red Sea area of the Sudan) seems very attractive, semi arid climate, rocky outcrops and hills, aqua blue water.

Interesting pictures, is Port Sudan the second city of Sudan?

Is the port only for commercial shipping or are there passenger services across the Red Sea to SA?

Thanks! Port Sudan is not an easy gallery to contribute too, unfortunately. Are those oranges imported or exported in large containers from Port Sudan ? If the oranges are raised in Sudan which region grows it ?

The Port Sudan center

The city of Port sudan is to have it's own financial & commercial center (Port sudan's small version of Khartoum al sunut project). It will be a complex of many 'high rise towers' and each tower will be 14 stores high.

The Port-Sudan Center lies on a very strategic part of the city's main 'conrniche' sea front. With a beautiful view of the Red sea and the new sandy beach.
