Does anyone here invest in the Vietnam sharemarket?

Can anyone tell me if Sacombank is a good company to invest in? Since I am not living in Vietnam and I heard people said this bank is one of the HCM Stock Exchange most popular shares and its good to hold for long term, is it truth?

Sacom (STB) was too pricey last year i remember, down around 80% now so it could rise again. The bank has so many subsidiaries (insurance, gold, real estate...) so ppl don't know if it could do good with those. It did outperform in Q1 but never be as good as a retail bank as ACB and other state-owned did. The market is still too cold now so current investors could hold and hope until fall.

thanks for the information SaiGoNeseKiD, at least i can get someone for help now, since i dont know much Vietnamese friends with me (and they dont invest in the stock market)

do you think the VN index has reach at the bottom end, or will it drop further more? The stock index has plummeted nearly 50% since the beginning of this year.

I want to buy Sacombank because I know this share has potentials to growth, especially this is one of the largest bank in Vietnam, I am now just looking for the right time to buy.
