Pakistan's love affair with FOUNTAINS- Pictorials ONLY
Muslims throughout the world and Pakistanis in particular LOVE Fountains, so its deserving to have a dedicated thread to showcase the history and variety of 'fountains' in Pakistan.
Fountains serve many purposes in urban, rural and educational settings. Intellectuals, love birds, families and broken-hearts are all pulled towards them. They also could make commuters relax a bit when witnessed on roundabouts etc. So here is a tribute to FOUNTAINS! image hosted on flickr ![]() Please do contribut to it.

The escalating persecution of Pakistan's minorities is reminiscent of a poem by German theologian, Martin Neimoller. "First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak because I wasn't a Catholic. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me." We need to learn from past, and we need to do it real fast, before its too late. |
