#YEMEN : Hanish Islands

The Hanish Islands (Arabic: جزر هانيش) are an island group in the Red Sea. Most of them are a part of Yemen, but before 1998-1999 they were claimed by Eritrea as well. After a long trial with an international court under the guidance of Dr. Abdul-Karim Aleryani, Yemen was granted full ownership of the larger islands while Eritrea was awarded the peripheral islands to the southwest of the larger islands

Interesting islands, I just would like more images of it. What are the major resources on the islands, anything ? I am aware that Yemen and Eritrea had a brief clash over the islands. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanish_Islands_conflict

Yes , the Hanish Conflict .
I don't blame the Eritreans for trying to claim the islands for them selfs , the islands are of a great strategic importance given its close location to the strait of Bab-el-Mandeb .
