A fine thread, Woody.
Just for general information the MS Prinsendam at 674 foot long is due in Liverpool on the 11th July and the Crystal Symphony at 781 feet long is due in on the 20th July. At a quite impressive 720 feet the MS Maasdam is here on the 26th July. Not forgetting that the Grand Princess is visiting on the 5th and 29th July AND also on the 22nd of August. Of course not to be missed is the final voyage of the QEII who comes to our fair city on the 3rd of October. |

Fantastic, absolutely brilliant, I had no idea such large ships could dock at Pier Head. This is brilliant for Liverpool.

The City of Liverpool Cruise Liner facility can handle the largest cruise liners in the world. It is rumoured that Queen Mary 2 will berth at the stage next year. Grand Princess is not the biggest ship to enter the Mersey, I believe that honour goes to a tanker at the Tranmere oil terminal.
