New Chinese architecture in classic style
China is still building traditional style buildings here and there among the thousands of new developments. Any more contributions or info appreciated:

![]() ![]() That's massive. They should build some skyscrapers like this. Also I'd like to see some of those monster modern bridges covered with the aspect of traditional Chinese gates.

It's a great decision. China and generally Asia, MUST preserve and develop their own architecture. I'm sad that a lot of cities are standardizing a global architecture. If the architects continue to ignore the particular aspects of each place and culture, in 100 years, you'll can go all around the world and see everywhere the same urban nature, the same urban soul.
It's a very honourable and witty architecture. I wrongly thought that China wasn't care very much about this. I'm a little bit relieved. |
