Projek baru lebih RM1b tahun depan

PETALING JAYA 31 Ogos - Sunway Damansara Sdn. Bhd. akan melaksanakan projek pembangunan bercampur dengan nilai pembangunan kasar melebihi RM1 bilion di antara Jalan Peel dan Jalan Cheras, di sini pada separuh kedua tahun depan.

Pengarah Urusan, Pembangunan Hartanah Sunway City Bhd., Ngian Siew Siong berkata, kerja-kerja pembinaan projek tersebut akan mengambil masa selama tiga tahun dan ia dijangka siap menjelang 2013.

"Projek ini melibatkan pembangunan pusat membeli-belah yang dikenali sebagai Sunway Velocity dan juga rumah pejabat," katanya kepada Utusan Malaysia di sini..

Sunway City (SunCity) Bhd intends to build new buildings over the coming few years. These buildings will then be put into its RM4 billion real estate investment trust (REIT). SunCity is also likely to put Sunway Pyramid Mall, Sunway Resort Hotel, Sunway Pyramid Hotel, Menara Sunway, Sunway University college and Monash University campus in Bandar Sunway, Selangor, Sunway Carnival Mall in Penang and Tambun Hypermarket in Ipoh, Perak into the REIT. Other properties that may be put into the trust are Wisma Denmark in Kuala Lumpur, Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway Velocity in Cheras, and four new office towers in Bandar Sunway.
