Thumbs up

Something for Maharaj to celebrate. His beloved Faisalabad is getting a hotel, finally!

They already have Serena (which is not a bad place and where, coincidentally, I got married!).

We have lots of extended family in Pakistan and we decided to split the wedding between Pakistan and England. The wedding ceremony was in Faisalabad (where most of my wife's extended family are in Pakistan). Hence, Serena was the best venue.

Looks liek a typical Karachi shopping center to me. I've been to the Gwadar PC, it's small but it's beautiful.

FSD = Typical Karachi shopping center
GWR = Beautiful

Serena is more than 20 yrs. old, but looks beautiful. Actually, now that I think about it, it resembles the GWR PC a little.

I couldn't agree more. PC GWR looks like it would be a very nice hotel even by Western standards.

They made GWR's hotel so much nicer though since I bet its aimed for foreign businessmen. I bet the FSD hotel is geared towards Pakistan clients, wedding functions, etc. so they don't feel the need to spend the same amount of money. But I can't blame them for doing that either.
