All the answers to your questions will be obtained by the right agent. Again, I'd go for York Estates, they are in the building and people, who check out the Marina usually first look with an agent right where the building is, in this case at the bottom of tower A.
I also used York Estates to rent out my 2 Bed Apt in Tower B, and were very happy with them. Because of York Estates office location, anyone looking to rent in MVT are likely to visit them first.

Thanks for the suggestions all, its a street/partial marina view studio in Tower A. Will go with York if the agent I used to buy the property doesn't pull through.

Anyone got building insurance on their property? thanks.

You don't need building insurance this is the responsibility of the OA. What you'd need is insurance for the content of your flat, even if it is not furnished. It will insure the kitchen, white goods etc....

Thanks Josua. Does the/Has the OA provided evidence of a a full, continuing and valid insurance policy for the building?

Building insurance is an obligation in Dubai. If you need evidence contact the OA. I do not know which company the building is insured with.

It was detailed,what's on the agenda. Am surprised there's another one so close to the last, which was in december 2012.

Could be reality as those Rays are quite common around the Palm.
