I believe so too. Whack it!

And TB, I wanna ask you: when you come here, what would you like to see? Touristy areas, or things tourists usually skip? If you're for the latter, well, my Bay Area in Pictures collections give you a preview of what to expect.

Sweet. And by the way, when you come here, what parts of the Bay Area would you like to visit?

Oakland has certain parts that are definitely not worth going, and I know those rough areas well. I'd say, the parts that are good to go to would be Lake Merritt, Telegraph Avenue (for Koreatown and Rockridge), and San Pablo Avenue (Emeryville), as well as the Oakland Hills and Montclair. I have covered Lake Merritt and Emeryville in my collections; I will find time to cover Montclair and the Oakland Hills because those are lovely places too.

As an insider, I'll give you a hint: driving through Oakland is all right as long as you stay on the freeways; you can visit Emeryville, which is a great shopping center, and it is essentially "sandwiched" in between Oakland and Berkeley, and it is right next to the Bay Bridge. And oh, if you happen to come here next year, you'll get to drive through the brand new span of the Bay Bridge on the East Bay side, destroying the old cantilever bridge.

Oh come on, TB! There's much more to San Francisco than the touristy sites! What would you like to see here on your next visit? I'll tell you: since you last visited here years back, so much has changed, you might want to go to the tourist sights first before I bring you deeper into the region!

And by the way, care to stop at an Irish pub too while you're here?

Of course I like to check out the pubs when I travel! That is always on my agenda!

Doesn't sound too thrill to visit there unless I bring Spearhead, the policeman along. I don't worry much for myself but probably not a good idea to take my cougar there.

That'd be fun, I love big and long bridges. Is there any bridge we can walk on it in the middle of the bay?

Do you want me to be right in the middle of a shoot out in East Oakland? All right, let me hop on any of the buses that run from Oakland Coliseum BART and wish myself luck getting out safe and sound! I know those bus lines that I just hop in and out of them in a breeze... And I end up taking like 15 minutes' minimum of a photo session in nearly every stop I take!

YF, that's true. The only good parts in Oakland would be Emeryville, the Airport, Lake Merritt (and Grand Avenue), Montclair, the Hills, and the Coliseum. The rest: let me take care of them! Plus, for the Bay Bridge, there's no sidewalk unfortunately because it is part of the Interstate Highway system (I-80), and it is a critical corridor linking San Francisco and the East Bay. However, if you want to see the bridges in either direction, there is an exit in between the two spans called Treasure Island (part of San Francisco, a place I still have no time to visit but a definite must-go for me) wherein you'll see, not just the two spans east and west, but also the "new" San Francisco that will rise from it.

Sure, YF. But I'm a city planner by trade, so I can do that as a side line too!

Here's me, lately: (You'll note the camera I've been using to take most of the pics I've been sharing here)

Great shot! Are you standing in front of a church or something?

Nope, it isn't a church. Guess again.

Ah! A winery! How nice.... I was going to guess that it was a Hacienda
Great pic of you, too! Quite the young gentleman-about-town!

Indeed, it is a winery. It's called Viansa, located roughly around 40 miles (64km) northeast of San Francisco, in Sonoma County. And by the way, YF, there are so many wineries to choose from, I will be more than happy to give you insight on them. Just choose your favorite wines (Cabernet, Sauvignon, Merlot, etc), and I will help you pick the wineries you can visit when you come here.

And thanks, TB! It's quite surprising that I'm not wearing my typical commuter attire, but that's pretty close enough since I attended Mass before heading to that winery! What's missing from that: my bag.
