Aaargh no way! They start to decompose and turn into mini-turds that get stuck to the bottom of your shoes and dragged indoors. I guess you don't have one in your back yard?

Will we have two-way operation tomorrow?

Only thing missing seems to be bus lane signs!

I'm glad they have created a bus lane each way, should be a quicker journey by bus through there now. It's still a shame they couldn't go two way down William St instead.

Getting from The Court to William St is the big problem and that's without any southbound car traffic.

Vincent have banned right turns out of Parry St. Cunce. In addition to the Newcastle/Beaufort St intersection being made worse (due to adding a new phase), the alternative via Parry St is now blocked.

Johnny, do you know which way Brisbane St (EAST) will be operating? I didn't go up that far but I assume it is now westbound only? As there's no right turn in and obviously no eastbound traffic on Brisbane St (WEST) so would be probably the most pointless road in existence otherwise.

Aberdeen St is terrible with two-way William now, you can only go straight from the right lane, but there's no right arrow signal, so when people are coming straight across from the west people can't go straight from the east. (I think it's Aberdeen, if it's not, I mean Francis St)

Also on Beaufort St to turn left into Aberdeen from the south, you have to cross a solid white line because there's a parking spot there.

Yep those intersections were always shit tho - this has only exacerbated things. No right turns of William at Aberdern or James - sorta defeats the purpose of getting rid of one-ways streets if u still have to dodge the turn bans.

Signal phasing on Beaufort St is now terrible too - to sccommodate right turns u need split phasing which just results in red light after red light.

Thanks for nothing city of perth

Buses now 2 way in Beaufort. But bus stop at Newcastle St has no signage and drivers won't stop until Aberdeen Street.

Even when fixed it will be a long walk to the Mosque and restaurants in William as the earlier stop is at Brisbane Hotel.

Brisbane St is one way to the west between Beaufort and William meaning #60 and 16 buses need to use Brisbane St out of the city and Bulwer coming in. Nothing on the Transperth website but I recall seeing a poster inside the buses.

Brisbane St behind the Brizzie will have exit to or from Beaufort but I can't work out which.

COV sent out bulletin to locals on the 10th explaining that the delay was for safety reasons and more or less blaming Main Roads. No apology.

Thanks Johnny. I was wondering when that bus stop would get sorted. Bloody Transperth are hopeless and I'm sure they have lost patience with the Vincent delays (but no excuse for the disgraceful way they have treated their patrons).

I am a Vincent resident and didn't receive any bulletin. Must have a very small distribution area.

Funnily enough I did get a letter back in December saying that Vincent would be converting Beaufort to two-way during the January school holidays as this is the period with lowest traffic volumes. All I can say is :sigh:

Aubin Grove station should be at Bartram Road, not Russell Rd. You heard it here first

Too close, only 2.2km from Cockburn Central

the station location is only 1km further south but has a lot more access constraints. It also then follows that the Rowley Rd station should be at Gaebler Rd instead. The proposed South Lake (Berrigan Dr) station is also only 1.6-1.8km north of Cockburn.

The only thing wrong with a Bartram Rd location is that there's not much room for parking. I'm assuming that the power line easement north of Russell Rd can be used for parking for the currently proposed station

Wouldn't the lack of parking space at Bartram Rd make it essentially useless? Surely Aubin Grove will be almost exclusively a park and ride station. Bartram Rd isn't good for bus connections either because it isn't a through road.

If there was still room to build up some density around the station, then I would agree with separating the freeway exit and station, but it's a bit late for that.
