It's incredible height to width ration makes this actually be a very unique and extraordinary building, so I doubt it could be made with prefab technology (that is, if Skycity in Changsha will be a success then maybe such a building could be done in a prefab way)

Funny! It did look like it was a jump away to be the same height as 450 Park (Black Bldg) from street level and that was about 2 weeks ago. LOL! It just shows how hard it is to tell from street level. From that picture 432 is certainly shorter. I too thought the jump had been made as well.

That's true. Unless one gets a more or less horizontal view of the top sections of both towers it is viertually impossible to assess their relative height to each other

Great to see the progress this tower has made last month since I couldn't see the cams for four weeks. One month from now and it will be the king of the block.

That price may be just for the staff apartments.

Unit pricing from 432 Park Avenue Schedule A filings
http://therealdeal.com/wp-content/up...Park-chart.pdf

In the price list it shows Units 28A - 29P range from $1.5 to $4 Million and all of those units are only studio's. Not 1 bedrooms. These units are being marketed as staff apartments. (A very own apartment for the help)

The cheapest 1 bed on that list is $6.5 Million.

Here's a marketing article for 432 Park (Targeting International Buyers):

The tower will boast 96 stories, with 10ft by 10ft windows which will display views of Central Park, the Hudson and the Atlantic Ocean. Residents will also have access to a private restaurant, an outdoor garden, a 75 foot swimming pool and a screening room and performance venue. Concierge services, along with in-suite catering and valet parking will further add to the luxury.

Designed by Rafael Vinoly, and located between 56th and 57th Street on Park Avenue, each apartment in the block will cost potential buyers between $7 million and a colossal $95million. Interest is expected to come mostly from South America, the Middle East the UK, China and Russia.

Interior design further emphasises the extravagance of the build, with ceilings reaching 12.5ft, and master bathrooms being paved in Italian statuario marble with radiant heated floors. There is also the option to purchase office suites, staff apartments and even climate controlled wine cellars as extras.

This tower is pretty cool. Looks like construction slowed down. I really never followed this thread but at one point, it did look like it was rising fast.

Please correct me if I am wrong in this calculation/counting.

I think the building is now at 24th floor to core and 22nd floor slab work is going on.
Below are the edited images to prove my numbers.

This is a pic from mid june. The third connector from the building to crane is above the 12th floor slab.

The 4th and final connector is just above the 16th floor.

This screenshot is taken 5 mins ago. Here the final or 4th connector can be seen and marked as 16th floor and i guess there are 2 more floors in core wall (yellow numbers)

Now to the calculation part.

Height of core wall: 15.5' x 24 = 372 ft or 113.4m (excluding climbing system)
Height to current floor slab: 15.5' x 22 = 341ft or 104m.

Not really an accurate way to gauge the number of floors. Some floors are double height, meaning some have two windows contributing to their height per floor. You can always say that you're counting the number of tiers however.

Okay.... read it as tier.
I just want to know whether my calculation is correct or not to update this progress diagram.

I have no idea why not, maybe to be sure about the height you could wait until it's as high as the Franklin National Bank Building ( black building, 119m ).
But I like to see your diagram.
