I'm still worried about talks of the Burj Dubai's "Structural Integrity" coming in question.

This is perhaps the Chrysler of our time as it seems like some other structure in Dubai will surpass it in a couple of decades, but its a very important and special tower in Sky Scraper history.

I agree that he will climb this one. I've been thinking it all along. Though Security will be tight, he will likely get stopped at one of the setbacks.

nov. 25 - dec. 1 = 90 floors
dec.2 - dec. 8 = 93 floors
dec. 9 - dec. 15 = 96 floors
dec. 16 - dec. 22 = 99 floors

True those are purely office towers which generally have higher floor to floor heights than residential/ hotels like Burj dubai.

I reckon we'll be on part 150 - 200 by the time this thing is completed. The frequency of posts will rise even faster once this becomes the tallest building - and remember once it's the tallest building it's still got 300m to go to reach it's full height. Isn't Taipei 508m and this'll be 808m+. Also 1609.7m is a mile so 1/2 a mile is 805m. 808m sounds like a good height to make it. You can say it's 300m taller than the next tallest AND it's over 1/2 a mile tall.

I'd be curious to see what the basejumping community thinks about this. Its not like its a pyramid, the angles are pretty steep, so you never know, maybe it is possible.
