thank god for the taller buildings, they clean up the city rather than having it go on forever in small messy scales

nice picture

great pics

so much potential

it needs a real city designer/architecture/urbanplanner to thrust it forward

u have similar areas across iran, hamchin chize ajibi nist rabtiam be torko farso ina nadare

if we want to make sense of our country we have to stop bordering different actions by such comments regarding cities and stuff

i have seen enough of this on blogs like isfahan city and tabrizmodern etc
hamchin migan tabriz in esfahan oon ahvaz oon shiraz in ke adam fek mikone ina adamash hame az ye kahkeshane digan

however these photos in general are very nice and i am happy to see urumiyeh have such a well defined urban walk way
this can be developed to a very nice shopping centre (it already is but can be nicer)

urumiyeh is having good over all organization projects and in a few years it will be one of irans most clean and organized of cities

great photos baris jan

why not?
even you go to usa you can see every citizen is proud of his city , las vegas , los angeles new york... they always compare their cities and this makes country develops
we are not blind and we can clearly see turks are developing faster and a lot better then kurd , lurs , arabs or other persians.tehran is exceptional of course.
if mashhad was in azerbaijan province it was abudabi for himself but you can see how it is today.
it's not developed.its not good for living.not modern at all.brings more money for iran comparing to other cities.but look at tabriz.
im not insulting tribes , im comparing each other and thats good.

Ur comparison is far too general and "eshghi" imo

Most urban iranians like esfahani shirazi tavrizi ardebili etc have the same habits and stuff
Many Developments are done by corporations and municipalities which are chosen by IR
But surely ppl also make a change

Being proud is one thing but u see these guys on the blogs acting like 3 year olds

What im saying is that labelling progress under ethnolinguistic tendancies is incorrect
Urumiye is clean , so is esfahan and tabriz and kish, even tehran is clean for its size.its more of an urban culture specific to cities rather than ethnic differences
Kerman is not clean, but karaj is , they are both "fars"
Urmiye is clean but zanjan and miyaneh both not as much, but they are both "azari"
Bashandegane har shahr bara khodeshoon ye farhangio rah mindazan

Migam enghad kilooyi hamechio daste daste nakonim fek konim hame tafteye joda bafteyim

Why do we care about ethnicity we are all from Iran anyway

I've walked the street in the picture above and it was really nice indeed, lots of nice small shops etc.

I really hope they make more stuff like that

I was in Mashhad recently, I see "hey dudes"'s point. But I'd rather not get in details.
