Hey everyone
I'm interested in photographs of alpha cities (New York, Paris, Prague, Moscow, Rome, etc.) in "banner" format (don't know the exact term for that kind of photography). I would like to print a few photographs on A4 paper (two photos on one paper). So I'm interested are there special threads related with that topic aside of this one.
Thank you in advance

Hi Jan, I suggest this text for Cuenca banner (quite beautiful, it is a corner that helps making stunning cityscape pictures despite it is a small city)

Proposed text for Cuenca

Cuenca cityscape from a hill with former convent, gorge and in the other side of river the well-known Hanging Houses, cathedral and historical area

Edit: View from the convent (nowadays luxurious hotel) is this one
https://www.google.es/maps/@40.07872...2!8i6656?hl=es

It is taken over it and spots all at same time

How about Harare - Zimbabwe - don't think anything was done to commemorate when Robert Mugabe (rot in hell ) was finally deposed

^ that source image has an 'all rights reserved' notice on it's page, which means that we need permission in order to use it as a banner. Do we have that?

Hi!

My first trial with a banner.

Title: High Trestle Trail
Location: Madrid, Iowa (USA) here
Copyright: taken by me

Bigger size:

The bridge decking incorporates a decorative structure that represents the view through a mine shaft, and its design includes decorative lighting that remains on until midnight.

The bridge was originally built in the 1970s to carry rail traffic on a Milwaukee Road line. With the retirement of that rail line in the early 2000s, the original bridge deck was removed, and its steel I-beams were reused for a new Union Pacific bridge in Boone, Iowa. However, the piers (or trestles) remained in place, and the original piers now support a new deck designed for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Between the removal of the original decking and the construction of its replacement, the single-file line of unconnected concrete piers was informally known as "Iowa's Stonehenge."

April 2, 2015, the BBC designated the High Trestle Trail Bridge as one of the eight amazing footbridges in the world.

This photo is bit outdated but this is the best shot of Charlotte that fits into banner I could have found. And as I noticed Charlotte is under represented(at SSC as a banner), I thought it might have been good enough.

Title: Charlotte
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, US
Info: Charlotte is the most populous city in the U.S. state of North Carolina. In 2016, the U.S. Census Bureau estimated the population was 842,051, making it the 17th-most populous city in the United States. Surprisingly, it is one of the less known skylines in US. On the left side: Duke Energy Center, 240m, second tallest building in Charlotte during 2009. construction.

Hi,

We didn't have a banner from Kosovo in the last two years, so i would like to propose one from the capital Prishtina, hoping i have provided all the requested info:

Title: Sunset in Prishtina
Location:Prishtina, Kosovo
Information: Mesmerizing sunset over the rooftop of Kosovo National Library, a stunning piece of modern architecture built in 1982. On the far left, the Saint Mother Teresa Cathedral, consecrated earlier this year. Prishtina's skyscraper district can also be seen in the background.
Source: Julia Druelle in Instagram

P.s. i got the permission from the author. If needed i can provide evidence. Please contact me if something is unclear!
