Yep. The renders are very early ideas of what the High Road West Scheme might ultimnately look like. I am sure there will be a lot of changes as the developement phase progresses. The final scheme that goes for planning consent may look completely different.

I think the steel workers slept through the day and now the storm is over.. there is again some activity at the back of the south stand.

The piling machine got loaded on a truck btw. So piling for the hotel is done.

If something like that (storm) happens again in the future, let us know (us the foreigners) here in the forum how the weather is like in London, in order not to wait in front of the cameras all day wondering. OK?

Yes, I prefer the one with the girl in last year's home shirt in the foreground, clearly more up to date with the latest stadium design in the background.

Believe me, storm was pretty bad. Here in Holland for the first time they had to close all five barriers. Wind speeds up to 115 kmph, even 140 was recorded.

Camera warning... big crane is lifting one of those four south stand "back" pieces.

There wasn't much of a storm here (a few km west of WHL). There was a short blustery period last night (about an hour) and a lesser one this morning. It's been a pretty nice day overall since the rain stopped this morning.

I assume the problem is they have to plan based on weather forecasts and can't start something they can't be sure of finishing.

Looks like some of the panels for the back of the south stand are on their way up.

You must be in a cocoon. It's been very blowy today (and all last night). Gusts of 40-50 mph until about 4pm. Far too strong for any crane action.
