I think on the western side (Komárom/Komárno, Érsekújvár/Nové Zámky, etc.) they speak the same way as here. In the middle and east (Léva/Levoca, Rozsnyó/Roznava and so..) they rather speak a dialect called "palóc", which means they say something like "aaa" instead of "á" This dialect is also spoken in Hungary, in especially in Nógrád and Heves counties.

Sorry Levoča? There live exactly ten Hungarians. You've meant probaly Lučenec, haven't you? It's relatively close to Rožňava and in Novohrad region.

Léva = Levice
Lőcse = Levoča
Losonc = Lučenec
