I never seen such a narrow site for a commercial development. It would have to be one of the narrowest office towers in Australia.

Museumb, Thanks for finding the info on TIMWIN. I had a difficult time trying to find information on their North Sydney project so as to at least confirm that height of the building. TIMWIN are also constructing a "La Maison" down near the old Mortuary Station at Central, this tower I think is a tad bit shorter.

Fabian, both towers that Museumb has shown occupy the most incredibly narrowest blocks, your average suburban home sits on a wider block of land.

However that is Sydney for you! Shove them in to where you can fit them!

basement Levels = 3 (looked very deep for 3, anywho....)
Ground Level = retail
Levels 2-4 = Commercial suites
Levels 5-16 = Accommodation
+ Plant room/service floor/lift hoists

= total 18 floors above ground (total 21 floors).

Height: RL = 97.6m and from street level 47.65m.

Fabian, its on the Pacific Highway, not too sure on the number, thats why its called La Maison on Pacific, the La Maison near Central has a different name which probably is location related.

The La Maison at Camperdown is going to be on St Johns Road opposite the large QVie/city Quarter development. Camperdown is buzzing with apartment developments.

La Maison on Pacific is at the beginning of the Pacific Hwy into North Sydney opposite the curved Harbourview Hotel (that funnily enough looks like the Camperdown Travelodge) near the station.

There is a report in todays Sydney Morning Herald about Blade if anyone is interested. Here are some further details.

*First new purpose-built office/retail strata site to be completed in North Sydney in the past few years
*22 units available as part of a strata development at an average of $560 000 with a return of 6 percent.

Today on my North Sydney CBD walk, I checked both Blade @ 71 Walker Street and La Maison On Pacific.

Firstly Blade. The facade is heavily scaffolded yet seems to have topped out.

In regard to La Maison on Pacific, the 3 basement levels are going full steam ahead. These basement levels I was informed by an on-site Timwin representative, will be reserved as carspaces for the 4 lower floor commercial level tenants and the residential occupants.

He also infromed me that the anticipated completion date for La Maison on Pacific (realistically) will be the end of 2003/beginning of 2004.
