Planned a trip to Mysore during the Deepavali holidays. Landed in Bangalore on 7th Nov night. My flight was delayed by one hour and I reached my Apartment near Airport by around 11.30 PM.

The Mysore Trip was planned on 9th and 10th. It was suggested by another SSC forumer Robin (We became friends through SSC). It was a little after 12 noon on 9th November we started from Bangalore. Four of us, Robin & wife, myself and my wife were in the touring team.

We enjoyed the trip well. It was a nice drive for two days in Robin's Santro. I liked the state highway SH 17 between Bangalore and Mysore which is four laned. The distance of about 150 km can be covered easily and comfortably in 2 hours. There are junctions and towns in between, with speed breakers & humps also. But overall it is a comfortable drive.

The places we visited were the Krishna Raja Sagar dam over river Kauvery, Brindavan Gardens, Chamundi Hills, Sreerangapatna and Ranganathittu bird sanctuary.

I had carried a KODAK Easy Share 330 camera as well as my mobile Sony Ericsson k750i. Kodak was meant for personal moments while k 750i was used for the highway and other city shots meant for SSC. Robin had another Sony digital cam, had taken pics also, hope he posts it all in the forum.
