Auckland City | Queen Street Upgrade

As this is quite a large project and has taken place over a long period of time I have decided to devote a thread to the upgrade.

I am sure the first thing that comes to mind was all the chaos and narrow corridors provided to pedestrians as the upgrade progressed. Most of lower and Mid queen Street is now complete and they are working on Upper Queen street at the moment.

I am sure most people were pleased to see the end of this seating

The original paving

Here you can see where the old and new paving meet in Wyndham Street
