Cochem is not too far away from my city. It's a nice town! The castle is one of the most beautiful in Germany.

That whole region is imo the most beautiful of GErmany. You have the rhine, the mosele, the vineyards and dozens of beautiful castles.

The town of Cochem is great and the castle surely is one of a kind.

But the concrete crap in the middle of this pic somehow destroys the beautiful impression of the river promenade:

There's an amazing ice cream shop in Cochem. That's the only thing I remember of this town along with the beautiful castle.
