Great pics! I'm visiting Egypt for the first time this, I've been told that Alexandria is far prettier than Cairo but both have their charms. Africa's largest city is far too underepresantative in this forum.

To each their own I gather. I like this city, then again each city has it's ups and downs of course also. Alexanderia is much larger center than Tunis or Algiers, so it is more congested, seeing more daily activity or traffic.

Anybody got any photos of the new Borg el Arab Stadium? That large stadium would have been a suitable replacement for the Alexandria Stadium. Its location is undetermined, as I cannot find its location anywhere on Google Aerial Imagery, but it's most likely located along the south border of Alexandria.
