U should be getting some snow or at least frost below freezing point so i doubt it got below -10 degrees (14F) It snowed here in Malibu in 06' with temperatures only at low to mid 20's.

Only if Pulag is about 5000 feet higher, maybe it can get some snow :]
How about Batanes Islands?

Doesnt Indonesia have an Ice Capped mountain range? I saw it somewhere on the net im sure...

When I was there on March 17, 2008, the place was really cold.

Camp Sabros, Kapatagan, Davao del Sur

Bai Teej, the travel from downtown Davao City would take around 2 hours. Here's some info i gathered about Camp Sabros on my visit there on March 17, 2008.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Travel Time. From Downtown Davao, around two hours.
* 45 mins to 1 hour from Downtown Davao to the junction of the National Highway and the road to Kapatagan.
* 45 mins to 1 hour from the National Highway uphill on the Kapatagan road up to the Mt. Apo National Park Checkpoint.
2. Suggested Transportation.
* If you wanna go all the way up to Camp Sabros, a 4-wheel drive vehicle/suv is recommended.
* Any vehicle if you are willing to trek 1 km uphill to Camp Sabros. Just park your vehicle at the Mt. Apo National Park Checkpoint.
3. Location and Directions. Camp Sabros is at Kapatagan, Digos City, in the mountains 1000+meters/3000+feet above sea level. From Davao City, follow the national road en route to Digos City. Along that road you will see a Y-Road that leads you to either GenSan or Kidapawan. Follow the Kidapawan Route (and slow down, look at the right side of the road). Before reaching the DASURECO (Davao del Sur Electric Company) compound, you will see a road on the right side of the highway with a sign saying "THIS WAY TO KAPATAGAN." Turn right and from then on just follow the road to Kapatagan. When you reach the checkpoint to the Mt. Apo National Park / Mt. Apo Mountaineering Trail, the road to Camp Sabros is to the right and uphill.
The road to Kapatagan is "putol-putol" cement and dirt road, but the road is good, a little steep on parts. Sedans and small cars can be brought to Kapatagan but not up to Camp Sabros, which would require a 4-wheel drive vehicle. You can always park your vehicle at the checkpoint and go on foot to Camp Sabros... a 1-kilometer uphill trek. ("kapoy" but fun)
4. Overnight Stay.
* Php1,200 per night (good for 4 persons),
* Php2,000 per night (good for 10 persons)
5. Food and Drinks, etc.. You may bring your "baons" :) The deli at Camp Sabros also serves food at affordable prices (P20-P50 per order!). Ice-cold drinks are available. Alcoholic beverages are also available at the deli, but you can also bring your own. :) Cigarettes are also sold at the deli. Personal hygiene items are available at the deli shop (sanitary napkins, soap, toothpaste, etc.).
6. Adventure, Entertainment, Amenities, etc. Zip Lines (380 meters and 400 meters - the longest in the Philippines), Cable Car. Picnic Tables, Cable TV, Billiard Hall, Deli/Diner, Bar, Souvenirs.
7. Admission and Fees. No entrance fees, no corkage fees. Zip Line rides range from 150 to 300 per head (round-trip -- alangan!).
*380-meters (zip 380 meters to the other mountain, then ride a cable car back to Camp Sabros)
-in pairs - Php150 per head
-solo - Php200 per head
*400-meters (zip 380 meters to the other mountain, zip 400 meters at DOUBLE SPEED back to Camp Sabros)
-solo only - Php300 per head (LONGEST AND CRAZIEST ZIP LINE RIDE IN THE PHILIPPINES)
Not exactly. Para magka-snow cap ang isang mataas na bundok, there should be abundant sub-zero precipitation (hail or snow) year-round and a constant air temperature not going beyond 0 degrees Celsius that is sufficient to not melt all of the ice and snow. In the case of all tall peaks in the Philippines, even though sub-zero temperatures are recorded at certain times and certain seasons of the year, there is no sustained sub-zero temperature year-round that can keep any of the frost that may have accumulated in the peaks from melting away.
By the way, I read in the Philippine Daily Inquirer about 8 or so years ago that crops in Benguet are sometimes ruined by frost (yelong nabubuo mula sa moisture na nasa paligid, as opposed to snow na nabubuo sa mga ulap at galing sa langit), and it was even recorded that the temperature at that particular area in Benguet was -4 degrees Celsius.
So it wouldn't be far from the truth if temperatures on the top of Mt. Pulag reach -10 degrees Celsius.
(My first post, yay!)
even at above zero, frost is already possible. presence of frost does not indicate tempearatures below zero. And the lowest recorded temp in baguio is 9 deg. in benguet province, its 6 deg.
You're right. Formation of frost depends on the dew point of the surrounding air, and not the actual temperature of the air.
The lowest temperature ever in Baguio City since records began was recorded on January 18, 1961, when the mercury hit 6.27 degrees Celsius. As far as Googling for answers is concerned this is the lowest figure I've seen for the Philippines.
In contrast, Tuguegarao holds the record for the highest temperature ever recorded in the Philippines and the Pacific Islands (Oceania, except for Australia), at 42.2 degrees Celsius on April 29, 1912.
grabe ang fog in those areas especially at night time, super taas na kasi ang mga lugar na yan eh, basically, if it is closer to the clouds, it must be cold.
We have a rest house and a pool up in Buda.
IT gets COOOOLD up there. And windy.
