That was my first reaction, the initial pleasure in seeing the news of this new limited service was quickly dampened when seeing the prices. Could there be a reason, ie do all the prices go up nearer to Christmas as New York is traditionally a very popular pre Christmas shopping break destination. Or are they putting them deliberately high to encourage their full package break and discourage flight only sales, as it is being run by Jet2holidays.com; their dedicated holiday branch of the company. The full break price does look like rather better value at only about £120 more than just the flight alone.
