Well, people, I made this slideshow about my little country, I just want you all to watch just a bit about Costa Rica. It's nature and part of our cities all mixed with some national music on the background.
I hope you guys like it

I came back from here only a couple of days ago! Fantastic country! And by God, your booze is cheap! I managed to get pissed off just £2 worth of drinks! I would post all my pictures but there's 200 of them at least. I took 700 altogether!

Spent 2 months in Costa Rica earlier this year. Stayed in san jose (crazy city), Alajuela for a bit, then headed up to Playa Samara/Ostional. Was an amazing country and I would love to go back one day. Also the girls are beautiful, when i arrived at the airport my eyes nearly popped out my head at all the pretty ladies. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about going.

Also its incredibly cheap, i think i spent about £300 the whole time i was there. Only bad part was the amount of Gallo Pinto (rice and beans) i had to eat. I'd recommend it to any fat people wanting to lose weight as well.

Pura Vida!!!

Haha, you are definitely right about the women! I wasn't a fan of the rice and beans. Well, the rice was fine but I've never been one to like beans! I spent only 10 days there but managed to spend £250.

I stayed 2 nights in San Jose but didn't explore it because we were travelling always in the day. I went to the Arenal area and stayed very close to the volcano - kayaked across Lake Arenal. I went to Monteverde for a couple of nights and was going to have a canopy tour but the night before, we had the same amount of rain that Birmingham gets in one year so it was deemed to be just a bit dangerous! Never the less, we did zipwiring, horse riding and checked out a couple of waterfalls. We then went to Punta Leona which is much more of a tourist place - the prices of drinks and souvenirs were a lot more familiar to us! Lovely beaches and great surfing waves. Also did some fishing off the coast and caught a tuna and three mahi-mahi!

Fantastic experience!

Post some pictures of the pretty ladies!

You can find drier and milder weather if you visit on January, February or March. March is my favorite because of all the amazing colors I mean colours I forgot this was a British Sub- Forum

Thanks for the pics guys! Brings back so many memories. I stayed at this hotel, fantastic waking up in the morning and looking to your left and seeing Arenal amongst the clouds!

Kayaking across Lake Arenal when it started to erupt was an experience! The noise and then the smell! We watched it erupt at night and saw the lava too, and the thunderstorm added to the atmosphere!

Beautiful country - will definitely try to return there and see what more there is that Costa Rica offers!

Thanks for your comment. Some people say that the Arenal area looks a bit like the lake district in England.

I can certainly see the likenesses but Lake Arenal looks so much more exotic! There is much more vegetation too. Oh, and you don't get volcanoes alongside lakes in the Lake District .

Yeah that's right. The comment was made by a British writer (Christopher P Baker). I don't really know what he saw.

But he writes:

"This picture-perfect lake might have been transplanted from the English Lake District, surrounded as it is by emerald-green mountains".

You saw that picture with the airplane which got posted? I was there it is located in Manuel Antonio and it is a very nice Restaurant- with affordable prices - i recommend it!

I've been in Costa Rica now for 6 Months and that country is awesome.

If you visit Costa Rica make sure to make a Canopy Tour. I think the best one can be found on http://www.canopy-tour-costa-rica.com it is the only canopy tour in costa rica on which you really cross waterfallls. They are offering 3 different ones. but this one is truly unique and with 25 cables included horsebackriding tour and lunch (lasts for 5 hours) maybe the best you can get. There is another canopy tour operator called waterfallscanopy or something like that but thats just the name - they dont have waterfalls! So be aware.

After recommending Manuel Antonio (which has a very nice private seeming beach) and that plane restaurant and the canopy tour over waterfalls i want to recommend to everybody:
VISIT COSTA RICA!
