This thread is for posting anything and everything, related to highrises or not.

You can comment on whatever subject you want, rant/rave, complain about your love life, post favorite music videos, tell bad jokes, tell of a cool new nightspot, tell about your vacation/trip, ask dumb questions, try to get a little sympathy, or talk to someone when you're bored.

It is a kind of stream of conciousness thread where you can change the subject at anytime, or there can be three or four different conversations going on at the same time.

No one will critisize that you posted in the wrong spot or in the wrong format.

This is the "FOR FUN ONLY" thread. Nothing serious belongs here!

so does anyone know when sephora is opening?

i heard they are planning a store in pacific centre

and why is the shoppers drug mart still in there if the new one is across the street?

Found on their website a couple of new stores opening in Quebec, but none in Van.

As fast as they are opening stores everywhere, i can't imagine that they would overlook Vancouver. They are opening new ones in some really podunk cow towns in the US. Can't be long for Vancouver.

yah someone on anotjher vancouver forum said she emailed them or talked to the store in edmonton and they said there are two planned for vancouver maybe spring 2009? one was pacific centre for sure and the other was not known but that two would be coming this way before next summer

I don't know anything about Sephora but does anyone know if the Quicksilver opened on Granville yet? And also, if the Elephant & Castle pub opened downtown?

Anyone tried doing web searches on www.cuil.com?

It was started by a couple of disgruntled Google employees that left and suppossedly searches more web pages. Has interesting format.

I'm not sure that I like it yet. It won't search with more than 3 search words at a time and seemed slow today.

What I liked about cuil is that, unlike Google, they do NOT store user identifiable histories of your web searches.

Yeah, no tab for images only, but through the links, there is no problem finding images.

Sometimes, I do like the image only archive of google, though I don't use it half as much as the search the web tab.
