European Top 3 atm:
50km, Croatia, A3 exit Nova Gradiska-Slavonski Brod 48km, France, A28 exit 15-16 47km, Spain, AP-2 exit 3-4 Croatia leads the way at the moment, 50km!! (in Europe that is )820km most countries complete motorway system here have to do with less. I doubt there is a longer stretch like that anywhere in the world,

Sorry, but the two first are wrong. The distance between exits 15 and 16 of french A28 is just 30 km's(check viamichelin.com).And there's an exit between the exits you refered on croatian A3, althouhg it doesn't appear on viamichelin.com, because only a large scale is availible. But you can check it on googleearth. It's near Luzani. So it would still be: European Top 3 atm: 47km, Spain, AP-2 exit 3-4 ??????????????' ??????????????

Ooh, nice thread revival.
The section of N3 in the Free State (it's an undivided four-lane road with limited access - yes, some of you may whine, but it's classified as "single-carriageway freeway" here, so I'm putting it in) has some long sections - exit numbers are 76, 107, 133 and 169. Since our exit numbers are distance based, you can work it out. ![]() The N1 between Pretoria and Polokwane may also have long sections, but as it's been 12 years since I've last been on that road, I have no idea as to actual distances. |
