Antioquia - Colombia | Land of the Eternal Spring

Antioquia is one of the most progresive and important Departments in the country of Colombia. It packs a broad variety of diversity and scenery.
Most of the picks are mine and other colimbian forumers .

I will start the trip through the Southern region of Antioquia considered to be the coffee region of the department ( my favorite region).
I will start with the town of la Pintada and its surrounding scenery.

This is a broad perspective of the whole southern region, this area is located in a low altitude area so the climate is quite humid and warm. Lovely scenery thou.
Here the peak you see is called los farallones, and the river is the Cauca river.

This region has a limited but beautiful variation of flora... some examples:
wait! whats this? I don't know if anyone knows the name feel free to name it... however is very comon to see this one in the area.

There are lots of parrots or these are called Guacamayas.. not friendly since they bite hard.

I will continue to add more pics.. this is just a small samples...thank you

Roads tend to get dangerous, due to landslides...still beautifull scenery.

WOW!

This monolithic rock reminds me of sugarloaf!

Amazing landscapes and nature indeed!
