And I really dont think there will be more shows. excluding vacation and other things, that 2 shows a week...

If you compare it with the Royal Theater, they have 530.000 seats sold in the 07/08 season. And that is with the original house, the new house, Østragas...
Remember that there are four halls. But it doesn't really matter, the point ends up the same: Very few people compared to a LOT of money.

...exactly like you did last time. And as far as I can remember one of the first acts by Brian Mikkelsen as a minister of culture was to allocate funds to some ridiculous museum - for traffic, I think - in his native Holbæk. But what I would like to know is how the hell you're going to FIND a liberal government. Certainly not in this country you won't!

Sweden has a museum of world culture that coasted hell of a lot. They've had lots of boring exhibitions about trafficking and stuff. Now it's for free to go there.

Speaking about Finland. It would be interesting to see some visitor statistics of the Santa park in Rovaniemi. People from all over the world go there to see Santa. I've read they have an own airport and stuff.

Yeah, Finnish Lapland is a very popular tourist destination around xmas time as kids from around the world come to meet Santa.. Madonna, Beckham and other British celebs have visited for example..

The concorde (BA and Air France) used to also fly to Rovaniemi.. only place in our region where it flew regularly.

I don't have any figures though.. maybe someone can help?

A bit off topic picture from Oslo Airport when Airbus A380 landed in 2007. It was a huge attraction for airplane interested people.

Simulated conditions for summer tourism in Europe for 1961-1990 (1) and 2071-2100 (2) according to a high-emissions scenario (IPCC A2) , map elaboration by EC JRC/IES.

(1) 1961-1990

(2) 2071-2100

The maps represent the summertime TCI scores in the baseline period (1961-1990) and towards the end of the century (2071-2100) in the IPCC A2 scenario. The main information these maps provide is the direction of these shifts. Some regions see their climatic attractiveness improve in summer, with other regions facing deterioration. The maps indicate significant shifts in the climatic suitabilities for tourism, with the belt of excellent summer conditions moving from the Mediterranean towards northern Europe. In the shoulder seasons (Spring and Autumn, not shown here), TCI scores are generally projected to increase throughout Europe. In the Mediterranean region, excellent

Wow I didn't know the airbus 380 could land at Gardermoen. Cause I'm pretty sure it can't land in Kastrup, Copenhagen airport

The longest runway at Gardermoen is 3,6 km, so that should do the trick.

The longest runway on Kastrup has the same lenght as the longest on Gardermoen, so yes it can (I guess)
