This murkied the water a bit. Uncle Brad mentioned that PNR 5000 Series locos were of GE U6B model. If this nameplate photo of yours was that of the said PNR loco, then it can be concluded that PNR 5000 Series are GE U10B model, with 1050HP, Bo-Bo.

Well, it appears Korean nameplates are not as detailed as the American ones. We could conclude here that the newly delivered DMU was Hyundai-Rotem RD 2500D model.

Anymore relevant thoughts mates? Hope we can stitch up the very limited details and find an updated Fleetlist at uncle Brad's blogspot...

The LRT-2 trains are still manned for door operations. As for the music, it's the MRT which has it, not LRT-2.

the trains are computer controlled in Santolan. There is still a "driver" tho he only controls the opening and closing of the doors.

As for the new DMU of PNR, it needs a driver. PNR still has to install a modern signalling system. Time table muna.

MRT-2 has music and automated announcements. MRT-3 has advertising and automated announcements. Unlike MRT-2, which is completely driverless save for opening the doors and for emergency manual operation, MRT-3 is still manual.
