Von Frankfurt ans Mittelmeer mit dem Auto.

Bin zu faul zum übersetzen.

I was fed up with the weather in Germany in March so i decided to drive by car to the sea. I took two other people with me.

In April the weather was very nice in Germany but we planned it so we did it.

We started at 5 o`clock in the morning. We past Stuggart and entered Switzerland at Schaffhausen. After driving 5 hours we get hungry. But i wanted a nice place to have breakfast.

From left to right. Me, Krissi, Pascal

We made a decision. We will have lunch at the beach
The journey continued. Switzerland is nice.

But the road signs are not. I find them a little bit confussing. After Zürich and Luzern the Alps started.

Two hours have past since the last stop. Time for a short brake and enjoy the Alps This is next to the motorway.

We continued to drive. It get cloudy before the Gotthard tunnel.

And of course we had a traffic jam. We lost 1 hour. Driving 17km through a tunnel is not very interesting.

It rained a little bit before Milano. The weather around the city was very nice. Some km later it rained very much. 80km before our goal i lost my hope for good weather. 10km it stopped to rain and 30km later the sun was shining. In the late afternoon we reached Genova. The entire beach was build up. But we planned to eat at the beach, so we did it.
Heres our view at lunch

Yes we really cooked at the beach

After that, we searched for our camping place. It was around 150m above sea level and costed 32€ >_<
We build the tent and went down to the city. It was very very nice but i was to lazy to take a camera and a tripod with me.

The second day. We expected rainy weather but it was only cloudy. Because of the sea the temperatures at night have been only 3 degrees below the temperatures at the day.

The view from the camping place.

The opposite mountain

We walked down to the beach because Pascal wanted to swim. The water had only 13degrees

On the way down.

A nice place to relax.

I didn`t expected such nice places next to Genova. I always thought it`s an industrial city.

A house build next to the railroad

After Pascal enjoyed the seawe went back.
On the way up.

My fellowers have been lazy so we drived most of the way down to the beach. On the camping place again we packed our staff put it into my small Punto and droved a little bit in the direction of La Spezia.

We wanted to eat Italian ice. But it was two times as expensive as in Germany O_o

After that we drived to the east part of Genova for sightseeing.

Would you expect something like that in a city of 600.000 people?

At 5 o`clock we left Genova. Next goal was Luzern. Thank god there was no traffic jam. 4.5 hours later we reached a new camping place.
It was dark so i had the chance to text my new tripod and my new zoom lens.

On the next day we packed our stuff and drove to the other side of the mountain
We had to walk from that point

Exotic plants

On the other side of the lake we could see the Pilatus

It was difficult to spot the lift.

At that point we decided to go there and see how much it would cost us.

But first we continued our walk

Intersting statue

Exotic animals

It was very nice there.

Later we drived to the Pilatus. Going up and down would cost 44€ per person. That was a little bit too much. We had a nice drive home. At 10 o`clock at night we arrived at home.

Thanks for staying to the end. Any questions?
