I'm a bit surprised, but not that surprised. Through EU, Sweden has to accept more cheap agri-food than Norway. Also Norway is known for our extreme district politics. Though I belive irregated land is decreasing in both countries, apparantly it's decreasing faster in Sweden.

I saw those photos on the net and placed them here. No special meaning - I love our region. That's all

Hope you like geology?
Was bored so fixed some maps, its just quick and nothing special, but it shows the location and N&B since the Cambrian period. Remember that we are living on Europe's oldest rocks! Red land is Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden & Finland (later Iceland)) and the Baltics. Blue land is Greenland and Svalbard. Since maps of the future is far less detailed than those posted above showing the history i sat down and
started fixing a little map showing the surface of the Earth in 50 million years time. Problem is that its hard to know what it will be like, so im using some fantasy here, but the main events is there, like Africa colliding with Europa and Arabia. Australia going towards China. India continuing north making the Himalayas larger. Whats hard to tell is how places such as Iceland will appear, will it split, or will it grow to a larger island. Hard to know about Scandinavia as well, and Greenland. There will be loads of glacial periods in 50 million years time, and since we're moving east, its going to get colder since the North Atlantic current will weaken. The glaciers will change much of what it is today. I am not done with this map yet, far from really, but could use help and correction if some is good at this. Questions is New Zealand, Iceland, Scandinavia and the entire north really. Ill deal with Antarctica later. What about the Black Sea, will there be an ocean developing from it? Not done with vegetation either, deserts and forests will move, but not the thing i will deal too much about.

Is it possible that we had dinosaurs in our area? They teach here that this area had been seabed instead!?
