This text is a comparison between the 2 new unveiled cars of SAIPA (2nd national car - Miniator) and Iran Khodro (3rd national car (after Samand) - Runna):

طراحي

طراحي رانا ساد*ه بود*ه و ايران*خود*رو تا حد*ود*ي سعي كرد*ه سنت سورن را د*ر اين خود*رو د*نبال كند*. قسمت جلوي خود*رو شباهت زياد*ي به مد*ل*هاي آئود*ي د*ارد* كه گويي با طرح*هاي پژو تركيب شد*ه است البته برخي نيز مي*گويند* جلوي اين خود*رو بي*شباهت به فيات پاليو نيست چرا كه مشاوران ايتاليايي اين خود*رو را طراحي كرد*ه*اند*. از سوي د*يگر د*ر طراحي بد*نه رانا خطوط بد*نه پژو 206 كاملا مشهود* است به*گونه*اي كه اگر 2 د*ست را د*ر عكس اين خود*رو روي صند*وق عقب و د*اشبورد* بگذاريد* كاملا پژو 206 را خواهيد* د*يد*.

پس به*نظر مي*رسد* شركت ايران خود*رو با كمك مشاوران ايتاليايي تنها جلو و عقب خود*رو را د*ر بخش بد*نه د*وباره طراحي كرد*ه است اما مينياتور طراحي تا حد*ود* زياد*ي عجيب د*ر بين خود*روهاي ايراني د*ارد* كه برخي مانند* علي رضا محمد* زاد*ه، كارشناس طراحي به*عنوان جشنواره خطوط از آن ياد* كرد*ه و معتقد* است كه سايپا د*ر طراحي خطوط خود*رو اغراق كرد*ه و برخي خطوط بد*نه با هم هماهنگي ند*ارند*. برخي د*يگر نيزمينياتور را شبيه خود*روهاي لانچياي ايتاليايي مي*بينند*. جالب است اين خود*رو نيز بنا بر اعلام رئيس مركز تحقيقات سايپا با كمك مشاوران ايتاليايي طراحي شد*ه است. با اين شرايط د*ر يك كلام مي*توان گفت رانا ساد*ه و زيبا و مينياتور طراحي پيچيد*ه*اي د*ارد*. اما باز هم بايد* د*يد* سليقه ايراني*ها كد*ام يك را بيشتر مي*پسند*د*.

فرمان*پذيري و تعاد*ل

گرچه تا زماني كه هر*د*و خود*رو د*ر شرايط يكسان تست جاد*ه شوند* نمي*توان قضاوت د*قيقي د*ر مورد* فرمان*پذيري كرد* اما رانا از سيستم*هاي توسعه يافته فنر*بند*ي پژو206 بهره مي*برد*؛ به*گونه*اي كه سيستم تعليق عقب د*وباره طراحي شد*ه و به*اصطلاح طراحي بومي تعليق د*ر ايران است. البته اين سيستم با كمك مركز طراحي پورشه توسعه يافته است. طراحي بد*نه خود*رو نيز به*گونه*اي است كه به*نظر مي*رسد* به*طور مناسب به زمين بچسبد* چرا كه گرانيگاه*هاي خود*رو نزد*يك به زمين است. د*ر مورد* مينياتور كه از ترمز توسعه يافته پرايد*، سيستم فنر بند*ي ريو و فرمان توسعه يافته پرايد* بهره گرفته، فعلاً تا تست جاد*ه صورت نگيرد* هيچ قضاوتي نمي*توان كرد* اما به*نظر گرانيگاه و ارتفاع خود*رو زياد* بالاست كه سبب پايين آمد*ن تعاد*ل خود*رو خواهد* شد*.

قواي محركه

قرار بود* تا قبل از رونمايي مينياتور موتور رانا 1400 سي*سي از خانواد*ه موتور ملي باشد* كه با مركز تحقيقات موتور آلمان FEV به*صورت مشترك طراحي شد*ه بود*. اين موتور 75 اسب*بخار قد*رت د*اشت اما پس از آنكه مشخص شد* مينياتور مجهز به موتور 80 اسب*بخاري با حجم 1500 سي*سي شد*ه*است، موتور رانا هم تغيير كرد* و حال قرار شد*ه تا موتور 1700 سي*سي ملي با قد*رت 110 اسب*بخار روي اين خود*رو قرار گيرد*. البته اين خود*رو با موتور پژو 206 تيپ 5 با قد*رت 105 اسب بخار هم ارائه مي*شود* و قرار است پس از مد*تي موتور 4/1 ليتري ملي نيز روي آن قرار گيرد*.

نكته قابل توجه د*رباره قواي محركه رانا و مينياتور حضور شركت آلماني FEVاست. موتور هر*د*وخود*رو با كمك مركز تحقيقات موتور آلمان FEV توسعه يافته، البته موتور مينياتور بر پايه موتور پرايد* است كه محفظه احتراق آن كوچك شد*ه و حجم موتورش افزايش يافته تا راند*مان موتور افزايش يابد*. عد*د* تراكم موتور 7/9 است كه د*ر موتور كنوني پرايد* حد*ود* 5/8است.(عد*د* تراكم هرچه بيشتر باشد* بازد*ه بيشتر مي*شود*). با اين توضيحات د*ر مورد* موتور اين 2 خود*رو مي*توان گفت كه موتور رانا سر*تر از مينياتور است اما بايد* د*يد* عملكرد* گيربكس كد*ام خود*رو بهتر مي*تواند* از قد*رت موتور بهره گيرد*. گيربكس مينياتور تغيير ضريب د*اد*ه شد*ه پرايد* است، حال آنكه رانا از گيربكس تغيير ضريب د*ند*ه د*اد*ه سمند* بهره مي*برد*. د*رباره گيربكس متعلق به مينياتور تا ورود* به بازار نمي*توان قضاوت كرد* اما د*ر مورد* گيربكس رانا مي*توان گفت د*ر د*ند*ه 3 ناهماهنگي بين موتور و گيربكس وجود* د*ارد*. با اين همه به*نظر مي*رسد* قواي محركه رانا به*د*ليل قد*رت بيشتر موتور، طراحي*شد*ن براساس گاز و كاركرد* مناسب روي بنزين از موتور مينياتور برتر باشد*.

كد*ام برند*ه مي*شوند*؟

گرچه بازار خود*روي 10 ميليون توماني هم*اكنون خواستاران فراواني د*ر بين مشتريان د*ارد*
(حد*ود* 500 هزار د*ستگاه د*ر سال ) اما ابتد*ا بايد* د*يد* آيا 2 خود*روي مذكور كه قرار است طبق وعد*ه مسئولان با قيمت 10 ميليون تومان عرضه شوند* چه سهمي از بازار را به*خود* اختصاص خواهند* د*اد*. با *وجود* اين باز هم بايد* منتظر واكنش بازار بود*. گرچه براساس برخي بررسي*هاي فني به*نظر مي*رسد* رانا برتر از مينياتور باشد*، اما باز هم بايد* د*يد* مرد*م فقط به موارد* فني د*قت مي*كنند* يا ظاهر خود*رو* براي آنها مهم*تر است.

اگر براي متقاضيان، ظاهر خود*رو مهم*تر باشد* بايد* د*يد* از 2خود*روي رانا و مينياتور كه هم*اند*ازه هستند* كد*ام مورد* اقبال بيشتري قرار مي*گيرند*؛ آيا رانا با ظاهري ساد*ه يا مينياتور با طراحي متفاوت و كمي پيچيد*ه*اش برند*ه اصلي بازار خواهد* بود*؟

-the 2 cars compete in the 10 000$ price class

-we must wait and see which one the people prefer, the complex one or the simple one

(DRIVING) - I don't know how to translate it...
-a precise comparison cannot be done - it only can be done when both cars are in series production...
-Runna uses a system of 206 and another system which was designed with the Porsche research center
-Miniator uses the systems of Pride and Rio
-Runna is nearer to the ground and so it has a better handling - in this case Runna is better (Miniator is not so near to the ground and has a more worse handling)

ENGINE
-first Runna was going to use a "national" engine with 1400cc and 75PS power, but after Miniator was unveiled with a "national" 1500cc and 80PS power engine they changed their plan and designed a "national" engine with 1700cc and 110PS power with FEV
-Runna also can use the engine of 206 and another national engine
-Runna has a better engine, but the gearbox which is from Samand has some some difficulties with the 3rd gear ...with the engine...
-all in all the engine of Runna is better

CONLUSION
-Runna has better technical and mechanical properties
-we must wait and see what the market interests more, the technical and mechanical properties or the design (which is different and should be waited to see what the people prefer)
-the market of this price class needs 500 000 cars annually

After all I say that Runna is a way better than Miniator...DESIGN AND TECHNICALY. And Kia Pride ... I think they stop the production line themselves, because nobody will be interested to buy this crap anymore.

Iran turns Syria into car exporting hub - Press TV


IKCO currently produces 52 different vehicle models under 10 makes.

Iran Khodro Company (IKCO) completes the second phase of its factory in Syria to make the country a regional base for the export of its sedan Samand.

IKCO, the Middle East's largest automaker, launched the first phase of the Samand assembly line in Damascus in 2007.

"The capacity of the plant is about 10,000 cars per year and the figure will increase to 30,000 cars annually," said IKCO Chief Javad Najmeddin.

Najmeddin added that the project had cost IKCO 60 million dollars.

He said that the plant has the capability to export its production to all regional markets.

IKCO manufactures various vehicles in seven countries across the globe.

The company plans to increase its production to one million vehicles a year. It is anticipated that 800,000 cars will be produced at domestic plants and the remaining will be produced at sites outside Iran.

IKCO's new models -- including the private passenger sedan Samand, the wheelchair-accessible Samand, the R90, a second generation LNG-powered 7-seat van, and the dual-fuel Peugeot sedan 407 -- were unveiled at a recent international auto exhibition in northern Iran and will soon be made available to consumers.

The third all-Iranian car Runna was introduced by IKCO in April.

They have already. The Samand is available in Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine and Russia and has been purchased for government departments in Bosnia and in Serbia. Negotiations have started for establishment in the Polish market. Its not so far away that Iranian products access the greater EU market.

The Iran Khodro Company will begin exporting its newly introduced car, Runna, to Turkey by July, IKCO's Turkish distributor says. The third all-Iranian car Runna was introduced by the Middle East's largest automaker last week.

The Anatolia news agency quoted MYS Otomotiv manager Yigit Seskir as saying that the new Iranian car would be offered with different options and engines in Turkey. IKCO says the compact car meets Euro IV and V standards which deal with air pollution and the pedestrian impact safety requirements.

Runna comes with an efficient 1.6-liter fuel-injected engine, SRS airbags, anti-lock brakes with EBA & EBD, power steering, and power windows and side-view mirrors.


Iran Khodro already exports the country's first national vehicle, Samand, to countries such as Turkey, Belarus, Russia, Syria, Tajikistan and Venezuela.

A car produced by SAIPA
The managing director of Iranian carmaker SAIPA has said that 'big automakers' in the US have invited his company to participate in joint projects.

Mehrdad Bazrpash also noted that the global economic downturn has prompted some of the European automakers to consider selling shares to SAIPA.

He said that some of the European automakers that are now interested in cooperating with SAIPA did not show any such inclination in the past, ISNA reported.

SAIPA, which was established in 1966, has implemented joint projects with Citroen and Renault of France, Nissan of Japan, and Kia Motors of South Korea.

The US auto making sector has been badly hit by the global economic crisis.

I don't know from who this retailer got his information, but there is one mistake : IKCo unveiled some protypes of Runna last month, they are far from starting mass production, so I don't see how they want to sell it in july.

hey do you guys know of any Iranian websites for importing cars into Iran? I want to find the limit on the engine i heard you cant get a car with more then 8 cylinders plated.
is that true?..
if you guys can give me some websites i would appreciate it! ....and if you can give me a website with the price of cars in Iran that would be great too.

Samand on Display in Belarus Int'l Auto Show

Belarus International Motor Show 2009 opened in Belarus capital, Minsk. Some 150 new cars alongside the most selling cars of the year in Europe were on display in the exhibition from May 4-10.
Iran’s giant automaker, Iran Khodro also participated in this international event by displaying Samand LX.
Head of the Iranian Samand factory in Belarus, Dimitri Igorov said, "Samand LX shown in the fair is one of Belarus plant’s products in the last year delivered to the customers at a reasonable price." He added that new models of Samand would hit Belarusian markets in near future.
It is noteworthy that Samand Lx produced in this country is equipped with a 1800cc engine and is very welcome by customers and lots of people visited Samand in this auto show.



The British Bentley Motors introduced its new model in this exhibition. The world economic crisis had also overshadowed the Belarus exhibition and forced car manufacturing companies to give special discounts to costumers so that some cars were sold some 5,000 Euros under their price.

its funny how in iran u have to pay 290 millions tomams for a mercedes S 350 and than u travel to dubai and with 270,000 USD u can buy ur self a bentley GT Speed, Ferrari F430, and a host of other cars that are actually worth 290 k .

Volkswagen talks for production line in Iran - AHK.de

German Volkswagen has started talks with its Iranian partner for production of VW-Polo.Khodro Emrooz magazine reported in its latest issue that German car manufacturer have had meetings with Kerman-Khodro for vast production of Polo. The magazine says that VW has apparently decided to use Iranian car part manufacturer to reduce the final prices. The same policy Renault is using for its car assembling in Iran. VW and Kerman-Khodro are producing VW-Gol for the Iranian market at a very limited number in Bam.
