the developers have filed a planning application for this site to become a car park.
i think they are planning to build this building when the market improves, so at best it is very much on hold. |

But look what Manchester ended up with, a building which only opened about a year ago, and even from a distance looks old and tired. It has NO redeeming features WHATSOEVER, it looks like it hasn't had a window cleaner near it since 1964............. A typical example of how we do things in this country................

Quite tall indeed, but its design looks pretty generic. What's Manchester about it?
That bland thing could stand anywhere. This city deserves smth better.

I disagree, i think if the city keeps towards this trend of tall yet thin buildings, like the beetham and such then it'll end up with quite an iconic skyline
